FACT: The largest muscle groups in the upper leg are the hamstrings and quadriceps. These are some of the longest and strongest muscles in the body. Powering your stride and squat, they give shape and definition to your thighs. There are 20 muscles in the lower leg which help you move your ankles, feet and toes. This is also where your Achilles tendon lives. Connecting your heel bone, it puts a spring in your step!
